Details

The currently selected product is reset when the product list is reloaded (after adding or updating a product). Current selectiong should be kept between updates (if possible).

This looks a lot like an old bug regarding the update of the category list.

Fixed.
But not done when deleting a product; in that case the selection is set no none.
