Syndication download code should use proxy and should understand "moved" header responses. Currently, the newsfeeds cannot be downloaded thru a proxy and cannot understand "MOVED" header responses from server redirections. There should be a global configuration option to enable proxy usage. And the download code should check for MOVED conditions (and maybe other error conditions).
