DetailsThe application should ask the server-side script about the capabilities of the OSCommerce version installed in the server.
Most modules and addons have a kind of signature: database fields and files that identifie them. The server-side script should be able to answer a CAPA query just like some net daemons do. The result of the query should be a list of installed modules and the OSCommerce variant. The application would do this query on connect to adapt its features according that. |
