Ir would be nice to scan directly the images from any imaging device (supporting the TWAIN interface) then uploading them.

Will not implement.
Because:

a) Keeping it simple. (Thie is a PM app, not a graphic one). We would need to add image processing tools also (crop, transform, normalize, etc).
b) The file uploading is a information-destruction operation. We downgrade the uploaded image. If we were also scanning to upload directly, we would need to store a working copy (locally) and a web one.


This feature would be a high risk one.
