DetailsCurrently, if a product is in several categories, the application display them as separate products. But if the product is edited with the Product Edit window, when saved, only one category is preserver. In other words, the product is deleted from all categories but one (the last).
This is a major issue. |

On a second thought, this is "loss of information", so I'm raising the Severity to Critical.
Urgent to fix!
On a third thought, and after some tests:
* Products copied by duplication can be handled correctly. They are really handled as different products and they can even be in the same category.
* Products copied by linking are handled partially right. All product related data is handled correctly. They can even be changed from one category to another without problems. However, they are not handled correctly if the user try to move it to a category where there is already a copy. This should be corrected (The minimal expected behavior is to delete one of the copies or stop the moving operation).
I'm changing the severity to minor (Lack of function with easy workaround, minor usability problem).
Now, there is no data loss.
It is unknown at what version data loss was stoped.
The title of thid bug is misleading.
As the application now can copy products (not linking) and the application can handle linked products without data loss (even if it cannot create them), I am closing this bug.
Closed as fixed.
