setup returns config.inc.php error message

hi folks, when running the setup.php (while logged in as root / admin in PHProjekt) in the /cm directory I constantly get the following error message:

panic: config.inc.php doesn't exist!! Did you restore it after installation? ...
(If you run this tool for the first time: please read the file INSTALL in the PHProjekt root directory)
To install or upgrade PHProjekt please go to setup routine

but the config.inc.php does exist in the phprojekt folder, ever the stup there would work.

any suggestions, what I am doing wrong, or which part of the installation I missed?

Yes... Same here!

Have a running phprojekt 5.3Beta and would need this CM Module!

Any comment apreciated.

Maybe this is of any help:

Check the $path_pre = ""; line within the setup-file and correct it
so that the config-file can be found.
