Post subject:  installing cms

hi

sorry but i can't create the config.inc file
just getting the error:

panic: config.inc.php doesn't exist!! Did you backup it after installation? ...
(If you run this tool for the first time: please read the file INSTALL in the PHProjekt root directory)

i did run the setup out of phprojekt, logged in as root.

just one simple question, is there no coding to change before installing?
f. ex in the setup.php
session_start();
$file = "setup";
$path_pre = "../";
$include_path = $path_pre . "lib/lib.inc.php";
include_once $include_path;

i tried everything but am stucked...
thanks for your help

kind regards
jk :?

Hi. If the error message says "config.inc.php" then it means you have not created the configuration file of Phprojekt. You need to have Phprojekt up and running before configuring the CMS module.

First complete the installation of Phprojekt, running the setup.php (of Phprojekt) so the config.inc.php file is created.

After Phprojekt is working, then start the setup of the CMS module. Please check the directions in the readme.txt file (for the CMS module) or in the page http://www.mariovaldez.net/software/cm_4p/install1.php.

First install and configure Phprojekt, then install and configure the CMS module, and then you'll need to edit a couple of files of Phprojekt to integrate the CMS module. But that's after installing and configuring, not before.
