Post subject:  Server Side Problems

I am having some problems establishing a connection. I get the following error message.

"There was an error while trying to connect to the server-side script. Please check it is installed and check your proxy settings"

Can someone please help?

I have installed the serverside .php file and I am not using a proxy to connect. The only thing I can think if that may be out of the ordinary is my default file directory is html/ not catalog/ could this be a problem?

I have renamed my catalog directory. I am trying to connect to port 3306. Can't figure what the problem is. Looking forward to using this program as adding a mess of products via the web is a pain, and the excel sheet for easypopultae is so large it confuses me. Please help. Thanx

Please upgrade to the latest version (0.1.2.436) because older 0.1.2.xxx versions have a bug that caused that error to appear for any problem. With the latest version, hopefully, you will see a more specific and useful error message.

That should not be a problem, if you set the correct URL in the "Network 3" tab of the Configuration window.

Hi. Renaming the osCommerce directory should not be a problem, if you set the correct URL in the "Network 3" tab of the Configuration window.

However, please upgrade to the latest version (0.1.2.436) because older 0.1.2.xxx versions do not display specific error messages. With the latest version, hopefully, you will see a more specific and useful error message.
