Hi. Please download the latest version (0.1.0.418) and try again.

I know what instruction is causing the problem, what I don't know is why you are having this problem. :?

That error means that the connection parameters are wrong at connection time, but I'm not sure which one.

I asked you to use a newer version, because this version do some extra checking when loading the parameters from the Registry. Before this version (0.1.0.418) if the Registry parameters were corrupted or simply wrong the application could crash or show unexpected behavior.

If you still have problems, please check your connections parameters, specially: hostname, port and protocol version.

If problems persist, please test the application in a different computer.

Let me know what you find.

Regards,

Mario A. Valdez-Ramirez.

jmesam and Reg DCP:

Open the configuration window, then click SAVE and send me the .ini file. For security delete the passwords (if you have "Store Passwords in Configuration" enabled"), but I need to see what are the connection parameters you are using. Don't post the file here, send it to mario@mariovaldez.org.

I received your email and have replicated the problem. The hostname is in a format the application cannot parse. You should use "mydomain.com" as hostname, not "http://mydomain.com/mysql/".

I will add some automatic cleaning of the DB parameters for the configuration window.

So, just edit the hostname, leaving only the server name. That should fix it. (If after that you get any other error, check the posting titled "Most common DB connections problems and solutions").
