On every version since 0.1.1.102 I get "Runtime error 216 at 00403xxx" every time I try to run the program. The "xxx" changes depending on which version I install. All earlier versions run fine.
Any ideas what this could be?
Thanks
Paul

No, I am not sure what it could be. However, a popular reference for that error is a trojan infecting your computer. Specifically one called Subseven. Please visit the following Microsoft support page for details:

If you are sure your computer is not infected (or if it was but now it's clean) but you still get the 216 error, please let me know.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I have checked my system with all the tools available and am sure it is not infected. I am currently running NOD32 antivirus (which is up to date).
I'm not having any problems running any other software.
I'm OK using 0.1.0 (build 527) for the moment but it would be nice to use a more up to date version.
Thanks

Ok. I will keep searching for probable causes. If 0.1.0 (build 527) is working ok, then that is a clue I will check.

Paul:

 May you send me the exact error text? Or screenshot. I need the exact memory address of the error message. Also include the version number.

Mario:

I found the problem late last night. I went through msconfig and disabled various things one by one and found that "Visualware Security Suite" was causing the problem, as soon as I removed it all was fine.
Obviously something in that program causes yours to fail.
I use the visualware stuff as part of my security checks on orders placed so it is quite important but there are plenty of other tools for IP and eMail tracing however there is ONLY one "OSCPMWin".

Thankyou so much for your help.

Paul
