Hi Mario,

I've been using your php program on BSD for a while and just upgraded from php4 to php5 to find the program not working.

Will you update the projject to work on php5?

On a side note is there a chance you will update the program to work with BOINC project?

Thanks

Hi. Thanks for reporting this. I'll check it out as soon as possible. I think I can have a defined solution by next week.

I will check the file formats of BOINC used by the new SETI@home. As I guess the final date to switch is closer, I'm giving this a high priority. I cannot give this a fixing date as I'm not sure how much code need to be rewritten.

Hello Mario,

I am sorry but i had jumped too quickly. PHP5 does work with SETI monitor the problem was the memeory allocation which is at default 8M in php.ini.

I've increased the limit to 18M and it worked OK. It was apache logs that had the clue.

It's great to hear that you'll work on BOINC the new SETI2 program if you need testers i can help with testing. The new format is XML based from what i can tell but some data strings are familiar to what seti's state.sah.

Thank you very much for your help and great software.

Phew! I was preparing myself for the worst.
I need to add this note to the documentation.

Thanks. When ready, I'll post a message on announcements and on the mailing list.

Yes, I reviewed the docs on SETI@home-BOINC but still have not started to code.
